FLATIRON DISTRICT. This art
deco-style restaurant, the latest brainstorm of noted New York
restaurateur Danny Meyer, may not be as flashy or chic as its brethren,
but it is nevertheless a good place to enjoy an excellent meal with a
splash of New York style. The delicious Nouveau French menu offered by
Chef Kerry Heffernan features the likes of lobster pot au feu, terrine
of beef shanks, foie gras au torch on and
caramelized scallops. Of course, you'll want to save room for dessert
and perhaps a glass of Cognac or fine wine. Reservations are suggested.
